I started my professional career with Bertelsmann and quickly became Managing Director for DACH at Lycos Europe, which IPO’ed in 2000. Soon afterwards, I joined Benchmark Capital as an Entrepreneur in Residence. I went on to co-found be2, serving as its CEO for 10 years. I have spent substantial time in Silicon Valley sourcing approximately 60 angel investment deals for 10x Founders. I studied in Hanover, Trento, Bielefeld, Paris and at MIT. I hold a PhD in Sociology and a Master’s in History. I am an avid reader, speak 4 languages fluently and am passionate about soccer talent development.
